WordPress was kind enough to inform me that the other day was my year anniversary of being registered with the site.
My very first post was July 15th 2013.
I quote a Chinese proverb that says,
“A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”
At the time I thought it was just a pretty thought. Little did I know that GOD was letting me in on what the purpose of this blog would be.
In the last year of blogging I’ve learned a lot about my writing, myself, my illness, and what GOD has to say about all of it.
Those of you who have been following have been there for some of the most difficult moments of my life. As I write I have to admit that these circumstances are real and sometimes crippling. At the same time, I have to cling to the tenuous chord that reminds me that there are good things too, in healing, and that despite what it looks like on paper I am growing into a stronger woman than I ever could have imagined.
I don’t write because I have an answer, I write because I have a story.
